[br][br]John Amon Herr, 59, of Kent, WA passed away, surrounded by his family on June 5, 2013 after a long, courageous battle with Wegener's disease. He was born August 6, 1953 in Spokane, WA. John graduated from North Central High School. He worked as a clerical worker with Western Overseas and had a passion for carpentry and classical cars. John, loving father of Eija, Andrea, Erik, and Andrew. He is also survived by his wife, Melissa and father, Bill. He was preceded in death by his mother, Eileen. [br][br]Derald Theodore (Ted) Wiley, age 91, passed away on June 24, 2013 at the home of his daughter in Dallas, TX. Ted is survived by his devoted wife of 65 years, Nina Howell Wiley, their wonderful daughters and sons-in-law, Diana and Charles A. Armbrust of Houston, TX, Deral and Raymond D. Horsmon of Sewickley, PA, and Denise and Dr. B. Stephens Richards of Dallas, TX; also by their precious grandchildren, Aynsley and Chase Armbrust, Nicholas Horsmon, Adam Richards and his wife, Maggie, and Caroline Richards Smithson and her husband, Rob.
Ted was born on October 19, 1921, in Colville, WA, to Chester Reeves and Anna Heritage Wiley. He attended schools in Deer Park, Northport, Colville, and Spokane and was graduated from Coulee City High School in 1939. While proudly serving his country during World War II as a member of the U.S. Army, Ted attended South Dakota State University where he was enrolled in the Army Specialized Training Program, an accelerated curriculum developed to provide the military with technical expertise. Subsequently, he saw action in the European theatre and served in Japan. Upon his return to the States, he joined the U.S. Weather Service. After 35 years of employment, he retired in 1979 as the Assistant Chief of Engineering for the Western Region of the U.S.
Even as a young man, Ted always had a camera in his hand. While stationed in Japan, one of his assignments was to teach photography to his military colleagues. Ted's love of photography never waned. Throughout his life he enjoyed hunting, trap shooting, genealogy, collecting Florence Ceramics with Nina, traveling to each of the 50 states, and taking photos wherever he went. For over 25 years, he actively participated in the Spokane Camera Club. Ted's photos, many prize-winning, fill the homes of family and friends.
Ted was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and three brothers, and his beloved "Katie"-- his granddaughter, Katharine Wiley Richards.
A memorial service, to be held in Spokane, will be announced at a later date. Remembrances may be made to St. Luke's Rehabilitation Institute; c/o INHS Foundation; P.O. Box 469; Spokane, WA 99210 or on-line at www.INHS.info; or the charity of your choice.

[br][br]Terry went to be with the Lord quietly in the night on June 27, 2013. He was born in Spokane, Washington to Justus & Betty Joyce Nordhagen on April 2, 1949. Terry was their 1st born. Terry had three brothers - Garry, Lonnie, and Robbie. He was a loving uncle to three nephews and three nieces. He attended University High School and worked many years on the road as a long haul truck driver. One of his greatest joys was to talk on his CB with Lonnie & meet up with him when their paths crossed while driving across the USA.
Terry LOVED his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He had an infectious laugh that would fill a room. Terry was greatly loved and will be greatly missed. He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle, friend and lover of Jesus. His laugh will echo in the memories of those who shared his joy. He lived and loved life and for those who remain, solace is found knowing that Terry is present with the Lord.
Terry's life will be celebrated by his family and friends on Friday, July 5, 2013, in Spokane, Washington at the Salvation Army Chapel, 222 E Indiana Ave, 99207, at 11:00 a.m.

[br][br]Kathy was an only child born in Odessa, Washington on July 21, 1932 to Bill and Martha Karr. Her father worked in construction and they lived in Downs, Colville and finally settled in Spokane where she has lived ever since. She attended McKinley Grade School, Libby Jr. High and graduated from Rogers High School in 1950. Kathy's first job was at Decker's Pharmacy which became Halpin's Drug Store in Spokane Valley. While working at the drug store, she met her soul mate and husband of 61 years, Orville McGinnis.
Kathy met Orville in the summer of 1950 and shortly after he enlisted in the military. During that time Kathy attended cosmetology school and received her license to be a beautician. They were married February 22, 1952 in the home of Paul and Laverna Dormaier.
Kathy gave birth to her oldest son Mike in September of 1956 and three years later in November of 1959 her son Tom was born. Both boys were involved in various sports through high school and college. Kathy spent many seasons cheering them on at their sporting events. She was a wonderful loving mother who was devoted to her family and was blessed with seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Over the years Kathy worked at several jobs including the Hallmark Card Shop at Shadle Center and as a beautician out of her home. One of her greatest satisfactions came from the 15 years she spent volunteering at Ridgeview Elementary for which she received a volunteer award for her dedication. Kathy and Orville liked to travel and spent time visiting many places with a favorite being Hawaii. They also enjoyed vacationing at Loon Lake and visiting friends and family.
Kathy is survived by her husband Orville, her sons Mike (Karla) of Spokane and Tom (Paulie) of Boise along with numerous grandchildren. The family would like to thank Ruthann, Nora and Beth from Hospice of Spokane for their incredible care and compassion these past months. They would also like to thank the Christ Care group and members of Shadle Park Presbyterian Church for their help and continued support. A Memorial Service will be held at Shadle Park Presbyterian Church, 5508 N. Alberta on July 12th at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Hospice of Spokane.

Harrison of Hauser, ID; two step-grandchildren, Jeremy Proctor and Jamie Proctor of Spokane, WA; sister Janice Sauer of Spokane, WA; niece Deborah Worthington of Anchorage, AK; three great-nephews, Zachary, Ian and Quinn Worthington of Anchorage, AK; nephew Richard Sauer of Federal Way, WA; great-niece Monica Sauer of Federal Way, WA; nephew John Sauer of Spokane, WA. Polly lived and worked in the Spokane area for many years, and was a Financial Aid Officer at Eastern Washington University when she retired.

Gary Wayne Kingsbury went home to the Lord on June 24th, 2013 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane Washington.
Mr. Kingsbury was born March 6th, 1955 in Van Nuys, California to Anna Zerle Kingsbury(Sullivan) and Howard Gordon Kingsbury.
Gary was a simple man growing up. He worked at various odds and ends type of jobs during his younger years. JBL Speakers, door to door vacuum Salesman and a gas station attendant is what got him by for a while. However, being a typical teenager, trouble brought punishment and punishment brought Gary to his final career; a Machinist. Gary's father made him work for him for a year as punishment. He ended up working for the company (King's Screw Machine Products) for 35 years, later inheriting it making it his legacy before he passed. Gary made hydraulic fittings for the Military and Aerospace industries. He retired and spent his latter days on 15 acres with most of his family in Tum Tum, Washington.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Ann Marie Kingsbury; his son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Laura Kingsbury of Katy, Texas; his other son and daughter-in-law, Clinton and Brittany Kingsbury of Spokane, Washington; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Travis Hunt of Spokane, Washington; grandchildren Ariana, Emily and Makayla Kingsbury of Katy, Texas, Emilyn Kingsbury of Spokane, Washington, Sydney T and Sydney K Hunt of Spokane, Washington; brother David Kingsbury of Everett, Washington and Bob Kingsbury of Bakersfield, California.
