MURRAY, CRAIG V
[br][br]Craig Vernon Murray, 59, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 14th, 2016. Craig passed away at home, surrounded by his family. By his side were his wife of 36 years, Kristi Murray, and children Katie and Jacob.
Craig was born July 3rd, 1956, the second of five children to Don and Mary Ann Murray. He attended Mead High School, graduating in 1974. He started working at Rosauer's at the age of 15, until the company was bought by Excel Foods in the early 90's. Craig was then a manager at Excel until 1996, when he chose to pursue a career in construction with his father. Craig went back to working retail at Walgreen's in 2008, where he continued to work until his diagnosis of a glioblastoma in March of 2015.
An active member of Shiloh Hills Fellowship, Craig loved fishing, camping, and spending time with his friends and family. Craig was a loving husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, and friend. He especially loved being 'Papa Craig' to his granddaughters, Kellyn and Stella. Most of all, he was a family man who put those he loved at the center of his life. Craig could always be counted on to tell you he loved you, and was famous for his bear-like hugs!
Craig is survived by his wife, Kristi, daughter, Katie (Chris) and granddaughter Stella, son Jacob (Julie) and granddaughter Kellyn. He is survived by his parents, Don and Mary Ann, along with sisters Bonnie and Patti, brothers Mike and Steve, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Shiloh Hills Fellowship on January 23rd, 2016 at 2:00 pm with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can made to Shiloh Hills Fellowship, 207 E Lincoln in Spokane, WA 98208.

[br][br]Terri Wenzel completed her journey on earth and moved on with her Lord peacefully while at home with husband John at her side January 16th. Born Terri Frances Jacoy to Alex & Anne Jacoy of Spokane, she grew to be a spirited, warm, generous and determined soul. Preceded in death by first husband of 19 years Brian Nirk, and sister Pat, Terri was a loving wife, mother and friend with a big heart. She is survived by husband of 31 years John Wenzel, children Tim and Todd Nirk, stepsons Mark and Tim Wenzel, seven grandchildren, aunt Joan Johnson and nephews Thad and Christopher Lightfoot. HART, BURTON B.
[br][br]Longtime resident and physician of Spokane, WA, Dr. Burton Bruce Hart, 76, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in his sleep, Thursday January, 14th.
Born and raised in Youngwood, PA., the son of Roy and Lillian Hart, he spent his young adult life in and around the Pennsylvania area prior to moving to Spokane, WA. He was known to many as "Butch" or "Doc" Hart.
After high school he served his country in the Korean War. Near the end of his service at the age of 24, he was recruited by the University of Buffalo to attend college and play football. While at the U.B. he played linebacker under coach Buddy Ryan who referred to him as "A Coaches Dream."
After graduating from the U.B. he then went on to attend Ohio State University where he received his doctorate degree in health and education. After graduating from Ohio State, he continued his career in education as a Professor at Penn State University. While teaching, he decided to pursue his passion for medicine. He went on to graduate from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Butch married his childhood sweetheart Judith Iris Loughry and enjoyed 43 years together and became parents of three children. After the passing of Iris in 2010, Butch was fortunate to find love a second time with Kathryn Hurwitz. Kathryn and Butch traveled the world and enjoyed many adventures together.
Butch was a competitor and an amazing athlete continuing into his later years by enjoying handball, golf, and the annual Thanksgiving "Turkey Bowl" football game.
He was passionate about his family and friends, the many patients in his medical practice, and helping others. He lived life to the fullest and left an imprint of everyone he met.
He leaves behind his two sons and daughter, Dr. Mark Hart, Burton Hart II, Gretta Hart as well as his seven grandchildren, Iris, Maris, Tess, Clayton, Lillian, Arlo and June.
Dad we love you. Thank you for all memories.

BREN, MILO "MIKE"
Mike Bren passed away January 8th, 2016 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. He was born to Charles and Mary Bren December 7th, 1927 in Ogema, MN. The family moved to Sprague, WA in 1937.
Mike entered the US Army in October of 1946. He completed basic training at Ft. Bliss, TX. He was enlisted from 1946-1948, his service included a 15 month tour to Seoul, Korea. He then joined the reserves and served in the Quarter Masters Supply Unit in Ft. Ord, CA during the Korean War.
After his honorable discharge from the Army, Mike worked for the Milwaukee Railroad in Othello, then the Odessa Trading Company, and finally Krehbiel Motors (later Loomis Truck & Tractor) as a diesel mechanic until his retirement in 1993.
Mike was married to Virginia Lee Wright in 1953, and they were blessed with two sons. They moved to Lind, WA in 1958 and were divorced in 1970. In his final years, Mike took comfort in his friendship with Janet Rasmussen.
Mike enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing all over Washington, Montana, and Alaska.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Mary Bren, brothers Paul, Frank, Jerry and Delmer Bren, sister Pauline Hanley, grandson Matthew Bren, great-grandson Dominic Perry, daughter-in-law Donna Bren, and long-time companion Susan Panter.
He leaves behind his son Frank Bren, of Lind, WA, son Kenneth (Darla) Bren of Sedona, AZ, brother Ted (Lavone) Bren of Waitsburg, WA, six grand-children, ten great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of his life is being planned for this spring. Memorial donations may be made to the Lind Fire Department.

[br][br]She was born in Pasco, WA to Clifford and Oneta Ross and graduated from Davis High School in Yakima. In 1965, she married Peter Ehrhardt, and they relocated to Spokane where she touched many lives though her various employers, most recently with Windermere Real Estate. She is survived by her husband and her children, Eric Ehrhardt and Amy Byassee. A celebration of her life will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church in the Spokane Valley on January 30, 2016 at 2:00 pm.

GROW, PATRICIA L.
[br][br]Born 11/18/1934 in Omaha, Nebraska. Pat married Hank, her high school sweetheart in 1952 and immediately started a family. They all traveled the world as part of an Air Force family eventually retiring in Spokane in 1972. Unfortunately Pat's one and only true love passed away in 1987. Although Pat had devoted her life to being the most amazing wife and mother, that role had sadly ended and she began a journey on her own with her grown daughters on the sidelines cheering her on. She had started a small woman owned business that was a moneymaker almost immediately. Joining and being part of the organization American Business Women also gave her a large sense of pride. Pat then went to work for HUD and later with People To People. She thrived as a new member of the working community, something that was not a possibility during her married life. Eventually Alzheimer's took away all of her amazing creativity, but until nearing the end, she continued to be funny, playful, and very ornery. Pat is survived by her sister, Jean Appleford, daughters Connie (and Doug) Causey, Sandy (and Ken) Ralph, grandchildren, Teresa (and Eric) Fry, Daniel Causey, and Melisa (and Derek) Mael, and many great grandchildren. A memorial will be planned at a later date.
