[br][br]Goldsboro, NC - Jill Menane Sherrod, 58, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Wake Medical Center.
Jill was born in Spokane, Washington on July 20, 1956 to the late Reynold Irving and Geraldine McKenney Menane. She was married to the late Howard Sherrod who preceded her in death in 2013. Jill will be remembered as a great friend to many, and a wonderful sister.
The family will gather for a service of remembrance at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Seymour Funeral Home with Pastor Andy Stovall officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
Jill is survived by her sisters. Wendy Jarchow of Spokane Washington, Brenda Abbotts of Matthews; brothers, Kim I. Menane of Spokane Washington, Ricky L. Menane of Spokane Washington, and Kerry E. Menane of Spencer NC.

[br][br]Pattie Ann Smith was a loving wife and mother, a fantastic sketch artist, an avid gardener, and a great cook. She also loved animals and had a special place in her heart for cats. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 31 years, Bryan Smith, daughter, Tracie Lyons, three sons, Bryan Larson, Jim Crause, and Kenn Crause; twelve grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. Pattie was deeply loved and will be missed greatly by her family. A small private wake will be held on October 4th to honor her memory.

[br][br]Julie passed away peacefully on September 28, 2014 with family and friends at her side and surrounded by the comforts of many from near and far.
Julie was a radiant light. She shared that light with everyone, making it warmer and stronger and enabled those around her to share that same light with others. She had a way of bringing out the best gifts that others had to offer.
Julie endeavored to teach her children about carrying a bright light and sharing that light with others. Julie is survived by her husband, Randal Imus; daughter, Bethany Imus; son, Nolan Imus; father, Keith Weller; and brothers, Michael (Peggy) Weller and Wayne (Suzie) Weller. Julie was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Beth Weller.
She will be missed by her family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 6:30 pm at First Unitarian Church of Portland, 1211 SW Main Street, Portland, Oregon.
A reception will follow at the Buchan Reception Hall in the Eliot Center.

LAUBY, JEFFREY "SCOTT"
Jeffrey "Scott" Lauby was sadly taken from us on Sept. 20, 2014 following complications from an accidental head trauma.
Scott was born December 26, 1962 in Seattle, WA to Gary Lauby and Patricia Gaffney Lauby. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Kimberly.
After growing up in Sprague, WA, Scott graduated from Western Washington University in 1985 with honors, with a degree in comparative Politics. He went on to The Ohio State University, where he received a Master's Degree (and nearly a PhD) in Political Science with a Russian/Soviet Domestic and Foreign Policy specialty. He became fluent in Russian and for 6 years was the group rapporteur at The Dartmouth Conference.
It was in Columbus, OH that Scott met Susan, his wife of nearly 17 years. They moved to Colorado in 2001 where Scott held various Client management positions at Global Healthcare Exchange and was recently hired on at Knowledge Factor.
Scott filled his life with a wide array of academic, musical, and athletic interests. He will be remembered most for his easy-going nature, sincerity, humor, and humility.
Scott is survived by his wife Susan; sister Kristen (Kelly) Harrington; step- mother Karen Lauby; half sister Maria (Marcus) Palmer; half-brother Dan Lauby; nieces and nephews Samantha & Megan Harrington, John, Daniel & Natasha Palmer, and Trent Lauby; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral Mass will be held Friday, October 10 at 5:00pm at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church 3791 Pike Rd. Longmont, CO. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Longmont Humane Society, 9595 Nelson Rd., Longmont, CO 80501; www.longmonthumane.org in memory of Scott Lauby.

[br][br]Harry "Lee" McKindree went home to be with the Lord on September 25th, 2014. Lee worked in the freight transportation industry and enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting and camping. He was also very active in the numerous churches that he attended. Lee is survived by his High School Sweetheart wife of 68 years JoAnn McKindree(Stoughton). He is also survived by his daughter Charlotte and husband Lewis Keeton of Everett, WA., his son Scott and wife Erin of Coolin, ID., daughter Zana and husband Steve Goulding of Spokane, WA., 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. [br][br]Raymond Eugene Sdao, 69, of Spokane, WA, passed away on September 22, 2014, following a long illness. Ray was born in Spokane on January 26, 1945, to Joseph & Cecilia Sdao. He graduated from North Central High School and worked in the car business for many years before retiring in the early 2000's. Ray is survived by his sister, Roseann Felice, and his son, Ron Sdao, both of Spokane; his daughter, Cortney Sdao, of Phoenix, AZ; his stepsons, Shaun Armour of Wenatchee, WA, and Chris Armour, of Kirkland, WA; and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his stepfather, William Koeppler, and his brother, Dennis Sdao. BROYLES, PEGGY D
[br][br]Peggy Diane Broyles was received into the loving arms of Jesus on September 14, 2014. She was the oldest of seven children: sisters Pat and Lana and brothers Dave, Dan, Don and Len. She was a loving mother of four children: Gary, Susan, Larry and Michele. She had six grandchildren: Paul, Kenny, Leah, Emilie, Hannah, and Seth and three great-grandchildren: Jarren, Lillian and Tobias. Peggy was born and raised in Spokane and lived here most of her life. Being the oldest child, she helped raise her siblings on a small farm in Marshall in the 1940's. As a teen, Peggy was an usherette at the Garland and Liberty Theaters. Peggy married her husband of 54 years, Ken Broyles, in 1952. In 1959 they bought a restaurant and motel in Airway Heights where Peggy worked as a waitress and ran the motel while Ken worked the day shift at Fairchild AFB. In 1961 the family moved to Silver Lake and were very active in the Medical Lake community where Peggy was a Sunday school teacher, Cub Scout leader and friend of all who met her. She was an excellent seamstress, avid gardener, great cook, enjoyed square dancing, traveling and singing with the Sweet Adelines. We will miss her fun and loving personality. Please join us in celebrating Peggy's life and her graduation to heaven on Saturday at 2 pm, Oct 18 at Hillyard Baptist Church, 2121 E Wabash Ave, Spokane, WA 99207.
