[br][br]Margaret Helene "Peggy" Pirie (age 68)
Peggy was born in Detroit Michigan on March 27, 1946 to Donald and Margaret Pirie. She moved to Spokane at age 4 with her family and lived here the remainder of her life. Peggy succumbed to complications of cancer and went home to be with the Lord on August 16th, 2014. She had three brothers Jim, Donald, and David Pirie who, along with her parents proceeded her in death. Peggy is survived by her step- mom Huldah Pirie of Spokane WA. Peggy worked in social work and geriatric care, both of which she was well suited due to her kind and compassionate spirit. She was a beautiful, sophisticated, passionate woman and she touched many lives through her work and her love. She is survived by her four children and their spouses, Daughter Michelle Link/Mark Hill of Spokane, WA; Daughter Misty/Keith Lee of Portland, OR; Daughter Jill Story/Kelly Haupt of Seattle, WA; and Son David Burns of Spokane, WA. Four grandchildren; Jerry Hill, Amanda Lee, Courtney Lee, and Rebecca Lee and great-grandson Jerimyah Sanders-Hill. Peggy was much loved and daily demonstrated the unconditional love of Christ. Psalm 139:1-18.
There will be no service, however a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations can be made to Horizon Hospice care of Spokane.
