
[br][br]Margery Marie Lagow was born October 22, 1922 and died June 18, 2014. She was born in Tekoa, Wash to Earl and Ora Dell Hall. After graduating from Tekoa High School in 1930 Marge joined the Sheldon Dance Band playing the piano. She married Ernest Lagow in 1943, shortly after their marriage they purchased the Worley Meats and Grocery. After Ernest's death in 1977 Marge continued to operate the store until closing in 2006. In 2009 she moved to Spokane to be near her granddaughter and family. Marge's many civic activities included being active in the Democratic Party, Worley School Board, Grange, Worley Senior Center, playing and teaching piano for school activities and she also enjoyed the theatre. Margery was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ernest, sisters Elvis Davidson, Doris Edwards and Wanda Joyner. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Babbitt and grandson Lance Babbitt, Worley. Daughter Kathy Burton, Lake Creek, granddaughter Elizabeth Burton-Woodard (Todd) and two great grandchildren, Kennedy and Taylor Woodard, Spokane.
Marge requested no services and any donations can be made to the Kootenai Humane Society or Hospice of Spokane.
