Maxine (MCClure) Yadon passed away May 2, 2014 at her home in Gold Beach, Oregon. She was 91 years old.
Maxine was born February 14, 1923 in Montana. A few weeks after her birth her parents were killed in an auto collision with a train in Spokane. Maxine was placed in Hutton Settlement along with her 6 brothers and sisters, and was adopted shortly after by her uncle.
She was a graduate of Colville High School in 1941. She workedfor several road contractors and then attended Kinman Business University. Maxine worked for the Office of Price Administration during World War II.
She married Clifford Yadon in San Francisoc, California in 1943 and emjoyed 67 years of marriage before Cliff's death in 2010. She and Cliff worked side by side in their buisness, Yadon Construction Specialties, until their retirement. After retirement she moved to Gold Beach, Oregon where she cherished her home on the Rogue River.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, Clifford, her parents, sisters Ava, Carol, and Doreen, and brothers Delbert, Lyle and Rex.
At her request no service will be held.
