Bob was born in Spokane and lived his entire life here. He graduated from John Rogers High School in 1957. He had a promising boxing career, but didn't pursue it. Boxing remained his passion. He went to work at Kaiser Trentwood in the shipping department and retired after 30 years in 1999. He will be rembered for his great sense of humor, optomistic outlook on life, compassion and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents Wilmot and Helen Kline and 3 stepchildren. He is survived by his wife (Rhea) of 39 years, son Rick (Tara), brother Ralph (Esther), 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to Cancer Care NW and Hospice of Spokane for their unending care, support and compassion.
At his request there will be no services.
