[br][br]Tony passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 9, 2013. He was born October 21, 1935, in Elgin, North Dakota to Daisy (Barth) Wurtz and Anton Wurtz. Tony attended Gonzaga Prep prior to enlisting in the Navy. When he returned home, he was a bartender for several years. Tony retired from a successful career with the U.S. Postal Service. He is survived by his son, Brian Wurtz; sister, Flo Lancaster; 3 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters Sally Riley, Peggy Kennedy, and Jo O'Connor. At his request, no memorial services will be held.
