[br][br]Emilie Jean Harrington, 67, passed away due to complications of Multiple Sclerosis. Emilie was born in Vista, CA. She graduated from Redondo High School in 1963, received her BA from CSU, Los Angeles in 1967 and her MA from Redlands University in 1980. Emilie began her teaching career with LA Unified School District. She moved to Hesperia, CA in 1975 and taught at various schools within Hesperia School District until she retired in 2005. She was well traveled; visiting 48 states and seven countries. In 2005 she relocated to Spokane, WA to enjoy retirement and grandkids. She became an avid bowler, Starbucks aficionado and beloved friend to many in the community. Her many hobbies included collecting owls, cross stitch, cross word puzzles, and gardening. Emilie is survived by her three children: Deanna (Harrington) Bunch and Don Bunch of Spokane, WA; Neil D. Harrington of San Jose, CA; and Courtney Harrington and husband Doug Antkowiak of Seattle, WA. Her sister, Marie Holderness of Newbury Springs, CA. Emilie has two grandchildren, Brynn and Paige who will always remember their Oma with affection. Her family would like her to be remembered for her intelligence, hard work and dedication to her children.
