[br][br]On June 13, 2013 Chris entered into Heaven after a tragic motorcycle accident that happened on June 5. He graduated from North Central High School in 2008. While there he enjoyed competing on the wrestling team. He then majored in welding at Curlew, WA Job Corps. Since acquiring his certificate in welding, Chris traveled around welding for different companies from Spokane, WA to North Dakota. Most recently he welded for Fluid Design where he was well respected by his peers and will be greatly missed. Chris was a thrill seeker. He was accomplished in skateboarding, snowboarding and weightlifting. He was often heard saying "You can't live your life in a bubble!". Chris was often described as kindhearted, goofy, fun, dynamic, and generous. He traveled in several different circles of friends. He peacefully entered into rest surrounded by his parents James and Jenney Hammers, Deborah Hammers-Bethancourt (biological mother), siblings Brandi and Blake Hammers, Amber Dobler, grandparents David and Mary Snyder, Rose Gourley. as well as many uncles, aunts, and cousins. We are proud that he had chosen to give life to others through organ and tissue donation. In this way he will continue to be a hero in many lives.
