Arlene Audrey Pease passed away November 13th at the Good Samaritan home with her family by her side from a brief illness with cancer. Arlene was born September 25th 1932 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was a member of St. Paschal Parish in Spokane up to 1974 when they moved to the Newport area. Arlene was a 30 year member of St. Anthony Parish of Newport. She was active in the Alter Society and has a lot of close friends in and with the church. Arlene was devoted to her family and she was known to be a friendly and caring person by all that had the privilege of knowing her. Arlene is survived by her husband Herbert of 60 years. Son Bill Pease ( Barbara ), Daughter Karen Holden ( Monte ), Grandchildren Jessica Long ( Jamie ) Adam Pease ( Kasie ), Eric Holden and Matthew Holden. Great-grandchildren Brayden Long, Taylor Long, and Austin Long. Arlene is preceded in death by her parents William and Wanda Klemenich. Memorial service will be held at St. Marys Catholic Church, 304 S. Adams Rd., Spokane Valley, Saturday, November 28th, 11:00 am.
