[br][br]Edward entered into rest at age 77 on June 15, 2015. Ed was born in Spokane, WA to Gerald and Helen Pool in January 1938. He attended Lewis & Clark High School and graduated in 1956. Ed attended college in Hawaii before going to Washington State University where he graduated in 1962. Ed worked as a Civil Engineer for the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Standard Oil Refinery in Hawaii. For most of the following years he worked as a forensic engineer and eventually started PSI Forensics in Spokane.
Ed was preceded in death by 2-year old daughter, Kathy Jo; parents Gerald & Helen Pool; sister Jean McGee & brother-in-law, Pat McGee. Ed is survived by his wife of 55 years, Barbara; daughter, Sherrin Larson of Mead; sons Edward "Larry" (Linda) of Cheney & William C. of Mead; brother Dick Pool of Lafayette, CA; 8 grandchildren, Susan Jarvis (Adam Winston), Alisha Smithson (Lynden), Richard Jarvis, Nia Platt (Ben), Edward "Ryan" Pool (Alesia Best), Randall Pool (Annika), Jeffrey Pool and Jacob Pool; 13 great-grandchildren. Extended into the Pool family were Daniel & Tanya Tisdale & their daughters, Tamiya & Skyla Tisdale.
Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on June 26, 2015, 6:30pm at Christ's Church of Mt. Spokane, 5601 E Peone Rd, Mead WA, with dessert social to follow. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ's Church of Mt. Spokane, P O Box 1450, Mead WA 99021
