[br][br]Marilyn Leona Harrison (née Mindermann) passed away quietly on the morning of Sunday, April 26th.
Marilyn was preceded by her father, Edwin Mindermann, mother, Vesta Mindermann (née Personius), step-mother Myrene Mindermann (née Campbell); by her siblings Edwin Mindermann, Evelyn Ruse (née Mindermann), and Delven Mindermann; her husband, Rex Lee Harrison; and by her daughter, Kasee Ann Woods. She is survived by her siblings Vernon Mindermann of Richmond WA, Loren Mindermann of Spokane WA, and Kathryn Rojan (née Mindermann) of Anchorage WA; by her children Shane Eigell of Gilbert AZ, Tanya Escobedo (née Burt) of Houston TX, and D Christian Harrison of Salt Lake City UT—not to mention grand- and great-grandchildren, friends, caregivers, and by those for whom she was very much a surrogate mother. She loved them all.
Marilyn was fiercely independent and good natured—a jill of all trades, who delighted in serving those around her. Marilyn will be missed, not forgotten. She is on to her next big adventure, surrounded by those who paved the way before.
In lieu of a funeral marking her passing, her children are collecting stories from those who knew her, to be published in a memory book this fall.
