DOLIN, JOSEPH (JOJO) H

Joe passed from a six month battle with ALS, he went to the Heaven's hunting grounds on October 22, 2014. He was born in Helena, MT. Joe graduated from Helena High in 1961, following graduation he joined the Navy in March 1963 to May 28, 1965 where he was a "Radarman" on the ship. He lived in Helena and Kalispell, MT as well as Seattle, WA. Joe had a specialty in flooring and carpeting where he was a co-owner of "Renewed Interiors located in the Spokane Valley for five years. Joe loved his family so much along with his home, garden and hunting. He loved hunting with his son Chris and Steve Svesta. There were many things he loved to do like play poker on the computer, play fantasy football and travel to so many places with his wife. Joe was married to the love of his life Geraldine (Geri) and best friend of 39 years. He has three children that he helped raise. Chris Dolin (Son) of Spokane, Rhonda Leach (Daughter) of Homer, Alaska, Steve Jacobson (Son) of Philpsburg, MT. Joe also was survived by Toni Thompson (Sister) from El Centro, CA, Lloyd and Mary Ann Stai (Brother and Sister in Law) from Redding, CA. Three nephews and one niece, Kevin and Deana Drew from Stockett, MT, Rich and Joe Coutu from Seattle, WA. 10 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren are also among those survived. Joe was proceeded in death by his parents, Harely and Josephine Dolin, and Grandmother Mary Jolsin. The family would like to thank "Hospice of Spokane" for all their wonderful support and time given to our family. Donations in "Joe's" memory to Hospice House (North) Spokane, WA and ALS association. A celebration and rememberance of life will be held at the family home in the Summer of 2015. No services will be held at this time. The family will scatter his remains at "Duck Lake" in Montana (Glacier Park). We will always remember his charisamatic charm along with his beautiful smile. Joe we hope you are having a blast in Heaven, you will be missed.
